What Is Inside This App Speaker Cleaner: Water Eject

Dropped your phone in the sink? Caught in the rain? Speaker sounds muffled, crackly or half as loud as yesterday? Speaker Cleaner uses sound itself to push the water back out.

HOW IT WORKS

A speaker is a membrane that moves. Low, pulsed tones make it move as far as it can — far enough to force a droplet out through the grille. High frequencies do the opposite job: they shake fine lint and pocket dust loose so it can fall out. Speaker Cleaner generates those tones on your device, in sequences tuned for each situation.

No audio is downloaded and nothing is streamed. Every tone is calculated on the spot, so the cleaning routines work in airplane mode, in the woods, on the boat — wherever the accident happened. The only thing the app fetches from the internet is the text of its privacy policy, terms and support page.

THE ROUTINES

• Water Eject — the fast rescue right after a splash. Pulsed low tones, 30 seconds.
• Deep Water Eject — for a proper soaking. Longer sweeps, more passes, a final high pass for the last droplets.
• Dust & Debris — rattling bursts loosen lint, then high-frequency sweeps walk it out of the grille.
• Earpiece Clean — a quieter routine tuned for the small call speaker you hold against your ear.
• Full Clean — water and dust in one pass. A good monthly maintenance run.

SPEAKER TEST

Not sure which side is the problem? Play a clean tone through the left speaker, the right speaker, or both, and listen for the difference. A crackling or quiet side usually means there is still water or dust in there. The test is free, always.

MANUAL MODE

For tinkerers: dial any frequency from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, pick the waveform, set the pulse rate and the level, and send it to the left speaker, the right one or both. Four presets get you started.

WHILE IT RUNS

• The volume is raised automatically (you can turn that off)
• The screen stays awake
• A live readout shows the frequency and the time left
• Pause and resume whenever

SETTINGS

Three intensity levels from gentle to turbo, light and dark themes, six languages — English, Finnish, Swedish, German, Spanish and French — and a history of your last cleanings.

FREE AND PRO

The first Water Eject run is free, because that is the emergency people install this app for. The speaker test stays free forever. A single one-time purchase unlocks every routine and manual mode. No subscription, no ads, no account, no tracking.

GOOD TO KNOW

Take the phone out of its case and hold it with the speaker pointing down while the routine runs — gravity does half the work. Wipe the grille dry afterwards. If the sound is still muffled, run it once more; a second pass often finishes the job.

This app cannot repair a damaged speaker and it is not a substitute for professional service. If your phone has been fully submerged, power it down and let it dry properly. Sound is loud during a cleaning routine — keep the phone away from your ears and away from pets.
Push water out of your speaker and shake dust loose with tuned sound.
